Cajun Shrimp Cesar Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 recipe of Fancy Napkins' Cesar Dressing above
  • 4 cups chopped romaine
  • 340 g bag shrimp; frozen uncooked, tail on, deveined
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon each of cayenne powder garlic salt and paprika
  • 1/8 tsp thyme
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Clean and chop romaine lettuce
  • Toss with Fancy Napkins' Cesar Dressing
  • If your shrimp is frozen, run under cool water to thaw
  • Peel shrimp and remove tails while water is running
  • In a frying pan, once shrimp are thawed, melt butter on medium heat
  • Add shrimp to melted butter, toss to coat
  • Add all spices to pan and continue to toss
  • Shrimp will only take about 5 minutes to cook fully. The insides of the shrimp should be white - but not too bright.
  • Top cesar salad with cooked shrimp and enjoy!
